DAY 01
Mumbai - Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati airport/railway station you will be received and greet by our company representative. After refreshment visit Shankardeva Kalakshetra – a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Guwahati.
DAY 02
Guwahati to Shillong
Today morning visit Kamakhya Temple. Then drive to Shillong (100km, approx) – known as the ‘Scotland of the East’. En-route you will stop at the view point of the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Shillong.
DAY 03
Excursion to Cherrapunji
After breakfast, will go for a day long excursion to Cherrapunjee (65 km, approx) – the wettest place in the world. At Cherrapunjee enjoy the numerous waterfalls like Nohkalikai falls, seven sister falls and also experience the adventure of caving at Mawsmai cave. On way to Cherrapunjee will visit Elephant falls. Evening drive back to Shillong. O/N at Shillong.
DAY 04
Shillong to Kaziranga
Today morning proceed to Kaziranga National Park (280km, approx) – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 Sq km. It is the home to more than 80% of world’s Rhino population. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Kaziranga.
DAY 05
Jungle activity at Kaziranga NP to Tezpur
Early morning Elephant ride (5.30-6.30 a.m./6.30 -7.30 a.m.) in the Central / western range of the park. Back to resort for breakfast. After breakfast enjoy an exclusive jeep safari in the Western / central range (6.30 p.m. onwards) of the park – ideal for grassland and big game like One Horned Rhinoceros and Water Buffaloes. Back to the resort, after lunch drive to Tezpur. On arrival at Tezpur visit Agnigarh. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Tezpur.
DAY 06
Uttarkashi to Gangotri back to Uttarkashi ( one way 110 kms, approx 06 hrs )
Today drive to Bomdila (160km, approx) – the headquarter of west Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. En-route visit Tipi Orchidarium a place over 500 orchids, on display there are some rare species of orchid. Arunachal has largest range of orchids in the country then take a break to visit Nag Temple. On arrival at Bomdila check in to hotel and stay overnight.
DAY 07
Bomdila to Tawang
This morning check out from hotel & visit Bomdila Monastery & proceed to Tawang (180km, approx) – the land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – Sela Pass (13700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Sela Lake. And visit Jaswantgarh, a memorial to the brave soldier who single handily tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. On arrival at Tawang check in hotel. O/N at Tawang.
DAY 08
Tawang local sightseeing
Tawang local sightseeing – visit P.T.TSO Lake, Tawang monastery, War memorial and in the evening enjoy the shopping at local market. Overnight at Tawang.
DAY 09
Tawang to Bomdila
This day will take return journey towards Bomdila (180km). While coming from Tawang will visit Urgelling monastery – birth place of 6th Dalai Lama, Narunang waterfall at Jang. En-route at Dirang will visit Kiwi garden then will continue the drive to Bomdila. Overnight stay at Bomdila.
DAY 10
Bomdila to Guwahati
Affer breakfast, depart to Badrinath, visit last village of india Managoan. Have darshan of Vyas gufa, Bhim Shila & Saraswati river darshan. Back to badrinath hotel for lunch, evening proceed for darshan of lord Badri vishal. Dinner & Stay at Badrinath.
DAY 11
Guwahati departure
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati airport to board the flight for your onward destination. Tour concludes here.
